Caryn Esplin is the chair of the Visual Comm Emphasis in the Communication Department at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho. Caryn is a professor, curriculum designer, author, photographer and graphic designer. She has designed four courses currently part of the Visual Communication emphasis:

3. Comm 316 Professional Imaging
4. Comm 462 Advanced Visual Media
